Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Nursing Faculty Member to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing education, engaging in innovative teaching activities, and participating in service to the institution, the profession, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Instruction
1. Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in accordance with the nursing curriculum.
2. Supervise and mentor students in clinical settings, ensuring they acquire the necessary clinical skills.
3. Provide timely feedback to students regarding their performance and progress.
4. Continually update and refine curriculum based on current best practices and advancements in the nursing field.
2. Scholarship
1. Engage in scholarship activities relevant to the field of nursing.
2. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects.
3. Disseminate findings through publications, conferences, and other scholarly activities.
4. Encourage and guide students in their own research endeavors.
3. Service and Professional Development
1. Participate in departmental, college, and university committees and task forces.
2. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current in nursing practices and pedagogy.
3. Foster relationships with professional nursing organizations and the broader healthcare community.
4. Assist with program accreditation processes and ensure compliance with standards.
4. Student Advising
1. Provide academic and career advising to nursing students.
2. Support students in their professional development and growth.
3. Assist students with securing internships, clinical placements, and post-graduation opportunities.
Compensation: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
